The Friends of the Peel Farmers’ Market is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to support and promote the Peel Farmers' Market throughout our community.
The Peel Farmers Market not only supports the local farmers and economy, but it offers a place for like-minded people to come together and share a wonderful experience each week. The success of Friends of the Peel Farmers’ Market depends on its members and volunteers who form an integral part of our market community. In becoming a Friend of the Peel Farmers’ Market you will be contributing to the long term growth and success of our market.
Membership to become a friend is $40.00 and includes:

Friends can also opt-in to become a volunteer. We have a number of volunteer positions available on market day at our Mandurah & Pinjarra markets or you may be interested in helping out behind the scenes. Some of the area’s we require assistance in are:
Market Promotion/Customer Service Catering
- Meet and greet customers at the market
- Assist with set up and running of the market
- Taking orders
- Information stall which consists of:
- Collection of money
- Meet and greet customers
- Making coffee
- Answering and directing customer queries
- Breakfast cooking on BBQ
- Sourcing and handing out of market literature
- Table service
- Selling of market merchandise
- Washing & ironing of market tablecloths
- Distribution of market promotional material

- Taking customer and non-customer surveys
- Food preparation for special events
- Serving food at special events

- Assist with writing/putting together quarterly newsletter
